Instagram Carousel Splitter

Save and share images

FAQs

Is any data saved on the server?
Nope. All image processing is done in your browser. That said, if you decide to use the mobile link feature, the image will be temporarily stored for 15 minutes on the server so you can reload it on your phone to more easily share with apps such as Instagram.
Wait, what does the mobile link do?
I got really annoyed of having to take my photos (on my computer), upload them to a shared service, download them to my phone, and reupload to an app such as Instagram. Here, I can queue up the split images here and easily scan the QR code on my phone to access the work done on my computer. (If you're using this on a phone, don't worry about this feature.)
I have other images I want to also post onto Instagram in the same carousel.
You can send the results here to Image Queue where they can be stored locally in your browser while you continue adding additional images. You can do this via the "Save and share images" button.
How do I move the crop region?
Click (or hold) and drag anywhere inside the bright area.
How do I resize the crop region?
Drag the white handle at the bottom-right corner of the selection, or use two fingers to pinch and resize the selection.
Will the image quality degrade by using this tool?
Technically, very slightly. This is a limitation of the JPEG format - recompression will result in slight quality loss (though the image is saved at very high quality, so artifacts should be imperceptible.) No additional downscaling is done other than the crop selection you made.
This crop cuts out the photographer's watermark.
This breaks US copyright law if you crop out the photographer's watermark and don't credit the photographer. Instagram now supports mixed content sizes, so it's best to also include the full, non-cropped image after the carousel-spliced version.
What images can I upload into the carousel splitter?
ONLY IMAGES YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE SHOULD BE PUT HERE. Good fricking lord I can't believe this has to be spelled out, but here we are:
